Starting the design and construction process can be overwhelming; we simplify the complicated to make the process enjoyable.  There are a lot of questions at the beginning; we have answers.

By taking our Client’s perspective, we work to understand what is best for them and their project. We learn about our client’s goals, vision and budget.  Working alongside Downing’s Client Development team, we’re committed to getting projects to feasibility at no cost to our clients.

After determining project feasibility, we start to develop our clients’ project. We work with clients to ensure their programmatic space needs are vetted and captured in our layout. By using images, project examples and other trusted resources, we help our clients convey their intended aesthetic preference, inside and out. This review is where preferences and requirements are determined and is combined with our expertise and relevant insight to ensure we are providing the best possible outcome.

We then translate what we’ve gathered during our design exploration and ongoing client engagement into construction documents to communicate the design intent to our construction partners. There is a continuous refinement of the design as we flow from design to documentation to estimating. Every part of our clients’ project matter, from big picture vision to small details, and our process ensures your vision becomes a reality.

Working with our internal estimating team and subcontractor partners, we ensure we’re achieving the best quality and value for every project so that our clients are confident moving forward with construction.
